School Uniform

Uniform

It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in a school organised event outside normal school hours.  

Please find below a list of uniform which should be worn at all times:

* DARK GREY TROUSERS OR SHORTS

* NAVY BLUE SKIRT OR PINAFORE

* BLUE GINGHAM DRESS (SUMMER)

* WHITE SHIRT WITH COLLAR 

* SCHOOL TIE

* V NECK DARK BLUE JUMPER OR CARDIGAN

* BLACK SCHOOL SHOES (NO TRAINERS)

* DARK OR WHITE SCHOOL SOCKS

School book bags are also available but not essential

P. E. uniform

(Children are allowed to come to school wearing their PE uniform on the days they are timetabled for PE - check your child's class page for further information).

* school tracksuit with logo

* white PE t-shirt with logo

* dark blue shorts (no football shorts or logos)

* black pumps or trainers 

Jumpers, cardigans and PE tracksuits can be purchased from Whittakers in St Helens.  All other items can be purchased from any other retailer.

We also offer uniform free of charge (donated items in excellent condition) which can be accessed in school office/foyer.

Health & Safety

For health and safety reasons we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school with the exception of a wristwatch (not phone or camera watches).  This is to prevent injury. 

Pierced ears - we would advise this is done during the  summer holiday to give them enough time to heal.  If they have not healed fully then they should be covered with plasters until fully healed (plasters must be provided by parents). Once healed they should be taken out as earrings are not allowed to be worn during the school day.

Long hair should be tied back/hair bands should be in a dark colour with no embellishment i.e. bows or flowers.  Extreme haircuts are not permitted as they could serve to undermine the high standards of appearance expected in school.
